Meet Our Host
Mr Campbell is a visionary leader and esteemed educator, recognized for his ability to blend historical best practices with contemporary innovations in education. As the Founding Head of the Franklin School, he has overseen every aspect of the school's development. Mr Campbell serves on the International Heads Council for the Dwight Schools Network and is the Chair of the Franklin Foundation, where his leadership continues to inspire global educational standards.
With a distinguished career in various high-profile positions, Mr Campbell was a member of the Dwight School (NYC) Senior Leadership Team, Director of Science for the International Baccalaureate (IB) SEHS DP program, and led the PreK-12 Health and Physical Education Program (IB, PYP, and MYP). His tenure as Dean of Faculty (Education) at the Australian College of Physical Education (ACPE) and his role as an elected member of the NSW Council of Deans for Universities highlight his commitment to academic leadership and quality assurance. He also played a pivotal role as lead Executive in ACPE’s Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) accreditation processes.
In the high school sector, Mr Campbell made significant contributions as the Associate Director of the IB DP program and Director of Rugby and Coaching (Grades 7-12) at Trinity Grammar School, one of Australia’s most successful IB schools. His expertise in developing people and teams, coupled with his dedication to celebrating and preserving educational traditions while embracing modern methodologies, makes him a transformative figure in the field of education.
