Franklin’s Athletics Program continues to demonstrate significant growth and momentum. Building on the success of an exceptional Fall Season, our winter athletes have elevated their performance, contributing to the continued development of the competitive sports we can offer at our school.
The Dwight Schools celebrated 25 years of global music collaboration as students from around the world took the stage at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall, with 700 in attendance, including many families from our campuses around the world.
Founded in 2015, Spark Tank has fueled the innovation of student-entrepreneurs, who translate their ideas and ingenuity into their own businesses and nonprofits. At the recent event celebrating Spark Tank’s 10th Anniversary, students showcased their works at an exhibition, with projects ranging from a jewelry line, to robotic arms that assist workers in minimizing injury, and radio-wave absorbing cell phone cases, sold to benefit cancer charities.
Through Service Learning at Franklin and Dwight Schools, students around the globe are encouraged to give back to their communities through various projects, and better their world while focusing on large-scale global issues such as environmental sustainability, food insecurity, homelessness, and more.
