Language learning helps students respect and appreciate the cultures of the world, including their own and those of their families and communities. It also begets deep, authentic connections among students, particularly as they become more proficient and develop fresh understandings of the roles language and culture play in global affairs. Franklin encourages students to meet challenges from a global perspective, and we believe that language learning promotes multicultural understanding and global mindedness.

Core Language Offerings

Franklin is pleased to offer Spanish-language courses in our brick-and-mortar school for students in grades 9-12.

Students can also leverage our affiliation with Dwight Global Online School for additional language course offerings, including French, Mandarin, and Italian; these options will be fully virtual, enabling Franklin students to participate with their peers from around the world.

Our extended virtual language course offerings are one of the ways students can benefit from Franklin’s affiliation with a global network of schools.
