To introduce students in grades 6-10 and their families to our hands-on maker curriculum, we’re excited to host a second Design Expo. Participants can take on design challenges in our state-of-the-art makerspace, and parents can see how Franklin is bringing a new educational model to Jersey City.
Date: Saturday, November 12, 10 am-1 pm
Location: Franklin School, 80 Town Square Place, Jersey City
At the Expo, our expert educators and Franklin students will demonstrate the creative power of some of the tools, machines, and materials in Franklin’s state-of-the-art makerspace — where students can design and make anything they want — and the skills they will learn.
You’ll also have the opportunity to experiment with some of the digital fabrication tools, including laser cutters, digital sewing machines, and 3D printers. What will you make? What do you want to invent?
We look forward to welcoming you and your families to our Design Expo, where you’ll also have the opportunity to meet our Head of School, Admissions Director, Director of Innovation, and Franklin faculty. Don’t miss it!
